STABILIZED ALOE VERA VS ALOIN

STABILIZED ALOE VERA VS ALOIN

STABILIZATION AND EXTRACTION

The amazing powers of aloe vera are lost soon after harvest. Hence, a great advantage of JUAL aloe vera products over others sold in the market is the extraction and stabilization procedure. The process of cold extraction using presses prevents pasteurization and contamination of the gel with the rind, thus retaining the vital nutrients of the gel. This way, JUAL aloe vera gel is essentially identical to the gel contained in a fresh leaf.

SIDE EFFECTS OF ALOIN

When ingested, Aloin has strong laxative and irritating effects. It is usually not recommended on an extended basis or during pregnancy. However, this should not be confused with Aloin traces from the aloe pulp. Many products that claim to contain aloe vera have Aloin instead. JUAL aloe vera products contain less than 0.05% of Aloin, far below the allowed rate.

We have already mentioned that properties are lost when the aloe is not stabilized, thus the first requirement is STABILIZED ALOE VERA.

ALOE PERCENTAGES VS. ALOE CONCENTRATION

Special attention should be paid to the use of percentages and concentrations. Aloe has a high liquefaction capacity; therefore, in the case of cosmetics, when the percentage exceeds 75% the product turns into liquid at the end of the process. JUAL products do not contain 100% aloe because they feature other natural ingredients necessary for other functions, such as preservation. The juices contain 98% pure organic aloe and the organic cosmetic line has up to 75% pure organic aloe.

Labels are misleading

You may find aloe in many herbal, cosmetic and cleaning products… You may see plenty of products containing aloe vera for different uses: nutrition, baby care, beauty…

Usually, products that purportedly have pure aloe vera are diluted. JUAL organic aloe vera juices DO NOT CONTAIN WATER. Our products use 100% pure aloe gel in its original concentration.
